President Trump wants to eliminate AIDS and HIV in the next 10 years and fight against childhood cancer with a budget of 500 million over the next 10 years.
He also mentioned building a culture that cherishes innocent life by the repeal of late term abortion. President Trump stated, “Babies born and unborn are made in the holy image of God.”
Lastly he mentioned national security. The United States is withdrawing from the Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, due to Russia’s violation of its terms. Also, President Trump is scheduled to meet in Vietnam with Kim Jong Un on February 27th and 28th to fight for peace on the Korean Peninsula.
A CBS news poll taken right after the speech found that 76% of speech watchers approved of President’s Trump’s remarks. 72% approved what he had to say about immigration, and 24% disapproved of his speech.
